Fundraising Update: So far we have eclipsed our $5000.00 goal and are steadily making headway towards the stretch goal of $10,000.00! You can help us get our signal out to Chilliwack by calling the pledge line (604) 851-6322, going to the Sign-up/Donate tab at CIVL.ca, or coming down to the Abbotsford Campus of UFV in building C, room 1061. All aforementioned genres and locales were represented at the tenth and final night of CIVL’s Battle of the Valley, where three bands were all guaranteed at least $200 in Long and McQuade gift cards, and a chance to get their own Music Videos from Tractorgrease Multimedia, Mastering from Five Acres Studio, and a band photo shoot from Jayme Anne Photography.
The odds were hard to call. Of five judges, there was one three way tie, and each band won over at least one judge.

101.7 Civl Radio and Warren Lane Pictures bring skateboarding documentary ‘Hicks on Sticks.’ It will be opening with a Zenga Bros bike messenger short ‘Road Sage.’
July 14th at the UFV Campus, lot E behind Aftermath. Starts at dusk. Admission is $2 per person, popcorn is by donation. Pack your car full, or bring a lawn chair and your ghetto blaster.
